Things to be taken
Pack in boxes that are small and easily lifted. Label each box and tape on a list of contents. Have one person responsible for knowing what is in all the boxes and where each box is packed into the truck/van. Make lists. The weather in Michigan is highly variable. It is not California. It can be very cold, it might rain, it might be hot
and humid. It may be all of these on the same day. Bring clothes for almost any kind of weather and dress in layers so you can add or subtract things as the day changes. Watch out for sunburn. Be prepared for rain, it is very likely that it will rain at least once. Bring enough cash.
Tools
· All of the normal hand tools, preferably two sets or more. Several smaller tool boxes are better than one big heavy chest. Organize tools in drawers and label them. Keep it that way. Take out only the tools you need and put them back when you’re done.
