How To Send Fake Mail AND Checking Genuinity Of a Mail

Learn About Fake Mails(Creating / Sending / Checking) 

We generally receive a lot of mails from unknown people about winning a lottery, confirmation of a job letter & many such attractive sorts of things. This is all done for befooling people, and they mostly carry a phishing page inside, asking you to login from there or fill up your details like account no. etc. there. NEVER DO THAT.

You must be curious how these 'FAKE MAILS' are generated...

As in a previous blog post, we have learnt how to create a  phishing page; this time we will learn how to send a fake mail, hiding your identity completely.

"SENDING A FAKE MAIL"

(Note that it’s only for learning purpose, so that you can be aware of such things happening around you and enhance your security settings)

• Type www.emkei.cz in your browser‘s address bar.

• You’ll be navigated to this fake mailing website.

• Fill up your name (fake obviously), fake email id from which you want to send the mail (note that you don’t need to make a fake email id for this. You can use any kind of fancy mail id, which don’t even exist) the email id to which you want to send the fake mail and the content of your mail. 

• You can also attach files and pictures etc. using ‘attachments’ button.

• Click on ‘I am not a robot’ capcha.

• Click on ‘send’.

• You’ll get a message that your fake mail is sent successfully.

"HOW IT APPEARS IN YOUR INBOX"

• It will look normal like other mails and you’ll rarely doubt it.

"HOW TO CHECK THE GENUINITY OF A MAIL"

• Open the mail.

• Click on ‘show original’.

• It will display all the details about the mail, and you can easily check whether it’s a genuine or a fake mail.
