Facebook adds new photo editing tools to ios

Till now we only just used to simply upload the pictures on Facebook. But now Facebook is providing us tools to also edit and add filters to them.

iOS users will have a new experience of using this social media as now they will be able to add filters, stickers to their pictures as well as they can add a text and resize and decorate it.

It might keep the interest of the people who are heading for Instagram and Snapchat instead, for pictures and visual effects.

It works somewhat like Snapchat and available for users of Facebook's iOS app.
It is known that Facebook has tried once to take on Snapchat in the past.
However, this effort failed to gain attraction amongst users but now it is introducing similar features in its app.

When the user uploads picture, a menu will appear in left bottom side, from where they can edit the picture.
The menu includes filters, the options to tag a friend, stickers, crop tools and text options.

After saving the edits and the picture, a slider appears on top of the image that lets users see what their photo looked like before and after the filter was added.

These features are not yet available on Android.
