Don't want your pen drive to be used without permission? no software needed

Make your pen drive password protected

 

You can keep a password lock on your software without using any software or any command. Just simply follow some easy steps

Steps: 

• Select  the pen drive you want to password protect. Right click -> turn on bit locker

 

• Check on -> use password to unlock -> enter password

• Click on -> save the recovery file (in case you forget password, you can use it)

 

• Choose destination folder to save this recovery key file 

• Start encrypting

•  Your pen drive has encrypted with password now.
• You will now need to enter password you gave to access it.

 

• In case you forget your password

•  Click on -> type recovery key

•  Open the recovery file and copy the recovery key

•  Paste this key here

•  Now you can manage it
