Finally Gmail gives user UNDO feature in gmail

Undo sending your mail

From the decades people wanted a feature which could undo their mail , now finally google gave this feature to his customers, so many people regret after sending mail to their love ones, this feature works in very simple way .when user activate  undo mail

feature in his mail then gmail increase sending time ,which provide enough time to user rethink and undo his sent mail by clicking "undo sent mail "pop up show on top of gmail

this feature is not implemented on gmail application in any of smart phone platform (android, blackberry, orange, ios nor in mango)
gmail soon update its application with "do not regret" feature which is also called by undo sent mail feature

If you make a typo or regret sending a message, you can undo the action by enabling "Undo send." This setting gives you the option to take back a message you just sent.

Here are the steps to activate this feature in you gmail account : :)

To enable Undo Send:

  • Click the gear in the top right .
  • Select Settings.
  • Scroll down to "Undo Send" and click Enable.
  • Set the cancellation period (the amount of time you have to decide if you want to unsend an email).
  • Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

If you had Undo Send turned on in Gmail Labs, your Undo Send setting will be on by default.

Note: To give you time to undo, Gmail delays sending the message for a few seconds. So if you don't select "Undo" within the time limit, your message will be sent. "Undo send" may not work if you experience connection issues.
